Five business partners thought it would be a great idea to purchase an oil and lubricant manufacturing plant based in Winnipeg.
That was in 1983.
Over time, the five owners became one. The company expanded West and the business direction was refined (no pun intended!).
Fast forward to 2000, it was time to move to a location that offered room for growth and rail spur access. Nemco’s head office and manufacturing plant has remained at 25 Midland Street ever since.
The Bodtker Group of Companies, based in Calgary, purchased Nemco Resources Limited in 2008 from George Nemeth, the company namesake, and we’ve never looked back.
Nemco is where it is today because of a focused growth strategy, a huge amount of determination backed up with capital investment including facility and equipment upgrades, process improvements, implementation and qualification to ISO 9001:2015, employee development.
Today, we are very proud to present our new name and look.
